    Monte Carlo Simulation

I created a Monte Carlo simulation in MS Excel to calculate investment gains. I would like to be able to copy your Monte Carlo example into Statistics 101 to compare its performance with my program. However Windows 7 apparently doesn't facilitate cut and paste from your help files, as I could do with Windows XP and Statistics101.

Would you please email a copy of your Monte Carlo example program?

    Thanks,

    A new Statistics101 learner

    Re: Monte Carlo Simulation

There are several Monte Carlo examples packaged with the Statistics101 program. You can find them in your installation folder: Statistics101\ResamplingPrograms\ExamplePrograms\MonteCarloExamples. I guess the one you want is : "retirementPerformance.txt". It is also described as an example that uses the FOREACH command in the help documentation as you noted.

You can access them easily from the Statistics101 menu: File>Open>ExamplePrograms>MonteCarloExamples.

I also have Windows 7, but copy and paste works fine for me with the help files.
